Provo Reception

Alright I am truely sorry I totally slacked on picture taking this time and the ones I took are really lame. I do know Jade Heinzen was taking pictures like crazy so Tara might post some on her blog. So sorry but enjoy the ones I do have.
It was such a nice lil open house reception. Matt and Mica have a really nice big place so it was perfect. The girl that decorated and did all the food did a really great job. It was so good to see family again as well. Matt and Mica are seriously one of the cutest couples of all time. They are so happy together and it was nice to stay with them and see them married. It was like they have always been married.
It was also awesome to meet Laura's boyfriend Trent. I hope she doesn't mind that I express my thoughts. Seriously Laura he is a doll...I was very very impressed! So nice and we look forward to spending time with the both of you again and getting to know him better. Next time I'll get a better photo of you guys as well.

This was after the reception we hooked up the projector and of course us being Martins had to hook up the Wii and play some games. Matt and Eric..they fell asleep, it was late.

Ok, this is motivating me to get those pictures out, I have like 50 that Jade (Danielson) took. :) I look like a vintage librarian holding Miles, ugh. But it was SOOOO sweet holding him, I LOVED it!!! Sorry I hogged him the whole time Laura. I'm glad you guys had such a blast hanging out, (after WE left, hehe) Mica and Matt are SO cute together, they really do seem like they have been married forever. I can't say enough how fun it is to see my sister like this, I just love it! See you later Staci!

Staci! Thanks for these pics. I love the one of me sleeping. I was so tired after the open house. I didn't even have enough energy to play mario kart! The open house was fantastic. We had such a great turnout. Mica looked at the guest list afterwards and counted up 70 people! We also got some great gifts too. One of our favorite is the Brita Filtering Water Pitcher we received. Nothing like filtered mountain water! We also got a homemade blanket from my friends in the Marriage & Family Therapy department. My favorite guests were my mission president and his wife. I was so delighted to see them! I didn't think they would come. However, they did scold me for not keeping in touch with them better. Overall, a wonderful night that is now a beautiful memory. Thanks to all the family and friends who helped out!

Vintage Librarian!? Tara, you're a hot mama!...sorry Bill, I had to say it. And I know Trent checks this blog with Laura...and yes, he is a good guy, at least he's good at making first impressions. :p It was cool to meet him.

haha, thanks Rob. Your funny. I was holding my little nephew this evening, he is just a few weeks old and so sweet, but he wasn't as fun to hold as Miles. Miles likes me, as long as he has been superduper swaddled by his dad first. :) I might be getting hooked! Miles is addicting! (Barbara, I thought of you when I was holding Miles, I hope you get lots of snuggle time with him soon! I know my mom still cries about not being near her grandbabies, it's tough)

Oh, and I am making a point to put some pictures on my blog tomorrow, it's going to be a priority. I have SO many pictures from that night. So you can check that later to see some more M&M cuteness. :)
