If you must know!

Alright for everyone that wants to know the "covered in human feces" story. I can't remember how old I was, jr. high age and where I grew up in my small town population 200 there isn't a whole lot to do. So my sister Steph and our good friend Brittany were bored and decided to dress up in black clothes and run around our small town in the dark jumping into ditches when a car would drive by... harmless play.

We got into a ditch and decided to be authentic and rub mud all over our face and arms so we could be disguised all over. While caking this very smelly mud all over us, we thought it stunk but didn't think much of it. Continued to play around for a couple more hrs and returned home. We walked into the light and noticed this smelly mud was bright green. Brittany's mother was disgusted by the smell and asked us where we got that mud. We told her the ditch of course and she just started to laugh. She said "Don't you know that Crosstimbers(the name of the town) sewage goes into the ditches." Which if we were smart enough we would know that. In our lil small towns the sewage either goes to the ditches or into a lagoon(small stinky pond full of your feces) in your back yard. Needless to say we ran to the bathroom as fast as possible to wash it off. My skin never felt so soft!

Also I won't count the time I fell into our lagoon in our backyard one winter day. Man I miss Missouri!

These pictures are similar to what the sewer ditch looked like

Here are some Lagoons just in case you wanted to know what one looked like.

Oh, Staci! That makes me cringe. I can totally relate to your mother about laughing. I think if my kids did that I would laugh and I can totally see them running for the showers while I yell laughing for them not to touch anything on the way there. Great story.
